T/Z as worried parents of a teenage daughter~
“Oh, is that really what you believe Tony?” Ziva crossed her arms and waited.
Tony grimaced slightly and was careful on the ground he was treading on. “C’mon Ziva, you know she’s a good kid. Teenagers are teenagers.” There wasn’t much of a change in her face for her eyes were still motherly and concerned. He tried to continue, “At her age I-,”
Ziva squinted at him, “At her age you were what, Tony?“
Suddenly his eyes widened and he felt a surge of panic. “I don’t want to finish that thought.”
A dark eyebrow raised in response. “I am sure I do not want to hear it either.”
Looking anxious he asked, “Where did I put the keys?!” As he began to turn around, Ziva grabbed a hold of his forearm.
“She is a good kid. I think we are simply being parents… overreacting ones, but parents nonetheless,” she inhaled and patted his arm. “I am sure she is being the child we raised.”
Tony frowned, “That little monkey we raised? The one who turned from little daddy’s girl into some doe-eyed teenager who giggles about boys without warning, just overnight like that? Yeah, that makes me feel better…” He seemed as if he was in deep thought and then a look of horror struck him, “Oh, no Ziva, what if there are boys at her friend’s house?”
Ziva smiled tauntingly up at him, “Then I am sure I will hear all about it tomorrow.” The look on Tony’s face was definitely something worth while.
